Over 37 years experience in the marine industry as both a
consulting naval architect and marine engineer with the firm
of Arthur D. Darden, Incorporated and as a design engineer
with Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company, Incorporated.
Qualified
as an expert in the fields of Naval Architecture and Marine
Engineering for United States District Courts in Louisiana
and Florida, Parish Courts in the State of Louisiana and Civil
District Court in Orleans Parish.
Adjunct
Professor in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at
the University of New Orleans in the Department of Naval Architecture
and Marine Engineering since 1978. Courses taught: NAME 2151
- "Introduction to Marine Design & Construction"
and NAME 2160 - "Form Calculations and Stability."

Distinguished Service to the College of Engineering Award, 2004.
Past Chairman of the Gulf Section and the 1989 Spring Meeting/Star
Symposium of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.
